Avalonia:

General;

1. Avalonia is set in an alternate universe circa 18th - 19th century and as such all interactions with it must be considerate of this.

   2. For the purpose of stories, blogs and artwork, ‘Historical Avalonia’ may be set in any time prior to this.

   3. For the purpose of stories, blogs and artwork ‘Future Avalonia’ may be set in any time after this.  

   4. Interaction with worlds outside of Avalonia is permissible within stories, blogs and artwork.

 

Regions:

1. All regions must be within keeping of the general Avalonia Theme which is;

2. Timeline – Alternate 18th – 19th century.

3. If you own a region and wish to change its name, that name must be non-offensive, realistic, and considerate of the general theme of Avalonia. You may apply to change a Regions name only if you are the owner and it is accepted by the admins upon application.    

 

Region Owners:

1. The region owner (Lord) is responsible for maintaining, updating and governing their region under the following regulations.

2. Theme: The regions theme must be kept within the general guidance as set out in “Regions”.

3. Region Owners should encourage their citizens to be active in the community.

4. Region Owners should encourage prospects to join Avalonia be careful to avoid any negative influencers.

5. A region owner can offer you a title such as Mayor, Governor, Officer etc but in order to use that title you must apply using the correct form. A fee will apply.  

 

 

Citizens:

Avalonia is a world of peace and unity, we provide a safe environment for people to express themselves through words, art, and other forms of communication.

1. Any citizen no matter on what level may be expelled from Avalonia if they introduce a negative impact to Avalonia. Serious consideration to circumstance and actions will be given but the ruling of the admins will be final and no further communication will be entered into.

2. All active citizens must follow any rules relation to their activity as set out the sections below

 

 

Stories and Blogs:

All stories and blogs must relate to Avalonia.

 

1. We recommend that stories and blogs start with Xavalonia: xxxx. For instance, Avalonia: The Tower Of Taal or Avalonia: The Secret Of Grathom. Why? Because this will expand the legend of Avalonia and bring the world to life.  This is not mandatory.

2. Any story that contains explicit adult content such as extreme violence or sex must be labelled ‘ADULT’. This is a legal requirement.

3. The author is wholly responsible for the contents of their work.

4. PLEASE make sure your work is spell checked, grammar checked, and presented in an acceptable way. You never know who is reading it! perhaps an agent or publisher.

5. No obscene or offensive material will be allowed. If you post this you will be expelled from Avalonia. If in doubt, contact us so we can review your work. I.e., Erotic fiction is allowed, but It’s all about, class, style, and creativity. We do understand that it is subjective but we have to consider the average citizens reaction within Avalonia to any such material.

6. All stories and blogs must relate to Avalonia.

7. All work is copyright to the author and may not be used in any way without the authors written permission.
